We’re thrilled to introduce GabLibs — a Mad Libs app that kids can talk to.
What is GabLibs?
GabLibs takes the classic fill-in-the-blank word game and brings it to life with voice. Instead of typing or writing words on paper, kids simply speak their answers out loud. The app listens, drops those words into a story template, and reads the whole thing back. The result is always hilarious and always unique.
Why Voice?
Young kids love Mad Libs but many of them can’t read or write yet. By making the entire experience voice-driven, we’ve opened up the game to children as young as four years old. No keyboard needed — just a microphone and an imagination.
Here’s how a typical session works:
- Pick a category — choose from Animals, Holidays, Places, Nature, Jobs, or Food
- Choose a story — each category has multiple story templates
- Speak your words — the app asks for nouns, verbs, adjectives, silly sounds, and more
- Listen and laugh — your completed story is read aloud with word-by-word highlighting
Built for Kids, Safe for Parents
Everything in GabLibs is designed with families in mind:
- Big, colorful buttons — easy to tap for little fingers
- Voice-first interaction — pre-readers can play independently
- COPPA-compliant — no data collection, no ads
- Parent gate — purchase flows are protected behind a verification step
- Save and replay — keep your favorite stories and listen again anytime
Story Categories
Each category has its own color and personality:
| Category | Theme |

| Animals | Jungle adventures and safari silliness |
| Holidays | Festive fun and seasonal stories |
| Places | Wild trips to wacky destinations |
| Nature | Outdoor explorations gone wrong |
